3/4 Oz honey-ginger syrup
3/4 Oz fresh lemon juice
Spritz of Islay whisky on top preferably Laphroaig 10YO
Fill a cocktail shaker three-quarters with ice

Combine the blended Scotch with the honey-ginger syrup and lemon juice in the cocktail shaker

Shake until chilled

Strain into a rocks glass filled with one large cube
.
Top with Islay Scotch and garnish with candied ginger.
