English Custard Recipe.


Ingredients:


2 1/4 Cups Milk
1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
4 Egg Yolks
1 TBSP Sugar
2 TBSP Cornstarch
1 TSP Vanilla Extract


Recipe Instructions:


Bring milk and cream to a simmer in a pan over low heat.
In a large glass bowl, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch, add the egg yolks and combine well.
Slowly whisk the warm milk mixture into the egg mixture, add the vanilla extract and return mixture back to saucepan and stir gently until thickened.
Serve hot.
