2 Bunches Fresh Broccolini
4 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
1 TBSP Olive Oil
1/2 TSP Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
Trim the broccolini and slice each stem in half lengthways.
In a medium pot, over medium heat, add the broccolini and cover with water, add a pinch of salt and bring to a rolling boil, boil the broccolini for 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes, drain the broccolini and rinse under cold water to cool, set aside.
In a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add the oil and heat until shimmering, add in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until the garlic releases its aromas.
Add the broccolini, stir to coat with the garlic and oil and cook for 3 minutes until warm and slightly charred on the edges of the broccolini.
Remove from the heat, season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
