3/4 Cup Butter (Softened)
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Egg (Beaten)
5 TBSP Molasses
2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 TSP Baking Soda
1 TSP Ground Cinnamon
1/2 TSP Ground Ginger
1/2 TSP Ground Cloves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line a baking sheet with parchment paper set aside.
In a large glass bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until smooth and creamy.
Add in the egg and molasses mixing well to combine.
Next, add in the flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground ginger and ground cloves, mixing well.
Using your hands, roll the mixture into individual 1" balls, rolling each into a little additional white sugar, place on the lined baking sheet, press lightly to flatten with the back of a fork and place into the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
