2 Chicken Breast Halves (Boneless)
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
1 TBSP Rosemary (Minced)
1 TBSP Lavender (Minced)
1 Clove Garlic (Minced)
1 TSP Lemon Zest
2 TBSP Fresh Lemon Juice
1 TSP Butter (Melted)
In a small glass bowl combine the garlic, lavender, rosemary and lemon zest.
In another small bowl combine the lemon juice and melted butter.
Spread equal amounts of the dry rub across both chicken halves.
Slash the chicken skin and drizzle with lemon and butter mixture.
Heat broiler on high and set oven rack to lowest position under flame.
Place chicken breasts skin side down on the broiler rack.
Broil on bottom rack until the chicken just starts to brown, roughly 14 minutes.
Using oven tongs, tun the chicken skin side up and continue to broil for 8-10 minutes.
Move broiler pan to highest setting until skin begins to brown and crisp, about 1-2 minutes, serve hot.
