1 Cup Butter (Unsalted, Softened)
1 LB Powdered Sugar
2 TBSP Whole Milk
1 Lemon (Zested and Juiced)
In a large, clean glass bowl, add the butter and using an electric hand mixer, beat the butter for 4-5 minutes on medium-high.
Add in the powdered sugar, lemon zest and juice and beat again for 3-4 minutes until the sugar is fully incorporated.
If the buttercream frosting seems to thick, add a little of the milk, 1 TSP at a time and beat to combine.
Use immediately.
