1/4 Cup Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
2 TBSP Balsamic Vinegar
2 TBSP Maple Syrup
3 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
2 TSP Olive Oil
4 Salmon Fillets
1/4 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP Ground Black Pepper
In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the grapefruit juice, vinegar, syrup and garlic to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
Transfer 2 TBSP of balsamic glaze to a small glass bowl, add oil, set remaining glaze aside.
Sprinkle the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and place skin-side down on a lightly oiled grill rack.
Grill salmon fillets, covered over a medium heat for 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork while basting occasionally with the maple glaze.
Remove from heat and drizzle the remaining 2 TBSP of maple glaze over the salmon, serve immediately.
