Marinara Sauce Recipe.


Ingredients:


1 (28 Oz) Can of Whole Tomatoes
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
8 Cloves of Garlic (Peeled and Chopped)
Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes
1 TSP Salt
1 Large Sprig of Basil


Recipe Instructions:


Pour tomatoes into a large glass bowl and crush them using your hands.
Add 1/4 cup of water and mix well with hands to get tomato juices, set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil and when it begins to shimmer, add the garlic.
Once garlic begins to sizzle, add the crushed tomatoes and juice to the skillet, red pepper flakes and basil, salt and pepper, stir to combine well.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, once reduced slightly, remove basil sprig and remove from heat.
Allow to cool and use as required.
