6 Oz Suet
3 1/2 Bs Mixed Dried Fruit (Currants, Sultanas, Raisins, Prunes, Chopped Finely)
8 Oz Glace Cherries
1 Large Apple (Peeled, Cored & Grated)
4 Oz Almonds (Blanched and Chopped)
1 LbDark Soft Brown Sugar
1 TSP Grated Nutmeg
1 TSP Grated Cinnamon
1 Lemon (Zested & Juiced)
1 Orange (Zested and Juiced)
1 1/4 Cup Brandy
In a large glass mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix to combine well.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 days, stirring several times a day to ensure the mixture is evenly soaking in the alcohol.
After 2 days, place the mixture into sterilized glass jars with air tight lids and allow to mature for another 7 days.
Store in a cool, dark place.
