1/2 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Cups Fresh Orange Juice
1 TBSP Fresh Lemon Juice
1 (20oz) Can Crushed Pineapple
1 TBSP Orange Zest
Over medium-high heat, bring the water and to a steady simmer until all of the sugar has been dissolved.
In the bowl of a food processor, add the pineapple (and juice from the can) until smooth, transfer puree to a large glass bowl and stir in the sugar syrup, lemon juice, orange juice and zest until evenly distributed.
Add bowl to freezer and freeze until slightly firm, roughly 45 minutes to one hour.
Add the mixture back to the bowl of the food processor and blend again until smooth, transfer to a freezer proof container with an air-tight lid and return to the freezer until solid.
Serve cold.
