Potato And Leek Soup With Bacon Recipe.


Ingredients:


4 Cups Chicken Broth
3 Medium Potatoes (Peeled and Cubed)
1 1/2 Cups Cabbage (Chopped)
2 Carrots (Chopped)
1 Leek (Chopped)
1 Yellow Onion (Chopped)
1/4 Fresh Parsley (Minced)
1/2 TSP Salt
1/2 TSP Caraway Seeds
1/2 TSP Ground Black Pepper
1 Bay Leaf
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 LB Bacon (Cooked and Crumbled)


Recipe Instructions:


In a slow cooker, combine the chicken broth, cubed potatoes, cabbage, carrots, leek, onion, parsley, salt, caraway seeds, pepper and bay leaf.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours until the vegetables are tender.
Remove the bay leaf, stir in the sour cream and bacon.
Serve hot in individual bowls.
