1 Onion (Finely Chopped)
3/4 Cup Ketchup
3 TBSP Tomato Paste
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 TSP Paprika
1 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TSP Mustard Powder
1 TSP Cumin
1 Pork Shoulder (3-4 LBS Trimmed of Excess Fat)
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
In the bowl of a slow cooker, combine the ketchup, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar and spices.
Season pork shoulder all over with salt and pepper then add to the slow cooker, covering it with the ketchup mixture.
Cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 8 to 10 hours.
Remove pork from slow cooker when cooked and place in a large glass bowl, shred using two forks and toss with the juices from the slow cooker.
