Rose And Cardamom Mahalabia Recipe.


Ingredients:


7 TBSP Corn flour
4 Cups Almond Milk
5 TBSP Bakers Sugar
2 TSP Vanilla Extract
3 TBSP Rosewater
2 Cardamom Pods
2 TBSP Pistachios (Crushed)


Recipe Instructions:


In a small bowl, whisk together the corn flour with about 2 TBSP of almond milk until a smooth paste has formed, set aside.
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, add the almond milk, sugar, vanilla extract, rosewater and cardamom pods stirring until well mixed and the almond milk is heated through.
Discard the cardamom pods, pour in the corn flour paste and whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth and thickened to a custard like consistency, roughly 10-15 minutes.
Pour the smooth mixture into individual bowls and sprinkle with a little of the crushed cardamom pods, set aside to cook, then cover and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
