Sausage Gravy Recipe.


Ingredients:


1 LB Sausage Meat
1/4 All Purpose Flour
1 TSP Ground Black Pepper
2 1/2 Cups of Whole Milk
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes


Recipe Instructions:


In a heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat brown the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks, about 12 minutes.
Sprinkle all purpose flour and ground black pepper over the sausage meat and cook, stirring constantly until the flour has absorbed the sausage fat, about 4 minutes.
Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly and cook at a low simmer until the gravy begins to thicken.
If gravy gets too thick, add a drop more milk, if it gets to thin, add a little more flour.
Serve hot over biscuits or thick slices of toasted bread.
