1 TBSP extra-virgin olive oil
4 cups broccoli florets
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1/4 TSP sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Lemon wedge
Red pepper flakes, optional
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the broccoli, garlic, salt, and several grinds of pepper and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add 2 TBSPs water, cover, and cook until the broccoli is tender, 2 to 4 more minutes.
Turn off the heat and add a squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of red pepper flakes, if using.
Season to taste with more salt and pepper.
