Shrimp Paella Recipe.


Ingredients:


1 TBSP Olive Oil
1 Yellow Onion (Chopped)
1 TSP Dried Thyme
1 TSP Smoked Paprika
1 Cup Arborio Rice
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
1 TBSP Dry White Wine
1 (15oz) Can Chopped Tomatoes with Garlic
3 Cups Chicken Stock
1 LB Shrimp (Deveined and Peeled)
1/2 Lemon (Juiced)


Recipe Instructions:


Over medium heat, place a large non-stick skillet, add the oil to heat and once the oil is shimmering add in the onion and cook for 4 minutes.
To the onion, add the thyme, paprika and rice and stir to combine, add the white wine and cook until the wine has fully evaporated.
Add the chicken stock, tomato's and season with salt and pepper.
Continue to cook for 6 minutes on high heat.
After 6 minutes, reduce heat to medium and cook for an addition 9 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally.
Add shrimp to the skillet, cover and simmer for 5 minutes until the shrimp is cooked through.
Add the lime juice, stir and serve immediately while hot.
