Spiced Pot Roast Recipe.


Ingredients:


4 TBSP Butter
4-5 LB Pot Roast
2 TSP Sea Salt
1 TSP Crushed Red Pepper
4 Cups Beef Broth


Recipe Instructions:


Preheat oven to 350 degrees, salt the roast ton all sides and heat a heavy bottomed pan that has a tight fitting lid over medium-high heat and add 2 TBSP butter.
When the pan is really hot and the butter has melted, sear the pot roast on all sides for 1-2 minutes.
When the pot roast is browned on all sides, add the beef broth to the pot and the crushed red pepper.
Replace the lid of the pot and place in the oven.
Cook for 2-3 hours, covered, until the pot roast is fork tender.
When the pot roast has finished cooking, place a small saucepan on a medium heat and add 1.
5 cups of the leftover broth and 2 TBSP butter.
Stir sauce continuously for 5-6 minutes until the broth reduces and the sauce becomes thick, place roast on a serving plate and slice crosswise.
Pour thickened sauce over the pot roast once sliced and enjoy hot.
