1 Cup Heavy Cream
1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter
Small Pinch of Salt
1 TSP Vanilla Extract
Place heavy cream, salt, butter and brown sugar into a medium saucepan over a medium heat and allow the brown sugar to dissolve.
Once sugar has completely dissolved, raise temperature to medium-high and stir very occasionally until the sauce begins to turn brown, continue until the sauce turns a dark, deep amber color.
Store sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
