Tofu Cheese Burgers Recipe.


Ingredients:


1 (12 Oz) Package Firm Tofu (Finely Diced)
2 TSPS Olive Oil
1 Onion (Chopped)
1 Rib of Celery (Chopped)
1 Egg (Beaten)
1/4 Cup Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper


Recipe Instructions:


In a medium skillet over medium heat, add the oil and heat until shimmering, add the celery and onions and cook until lightly browned, move to a large glass bowl.
To the celery and onion mixture add the finely diced tofu, salt, pepper, egg and cheese, mix well to combine.
Divide mixture in six patties and fry in a skillet with about 1/2" of vegetable oil for 6 minutes, until beginning to turn golden brown, flip and cook on the second side for another 5 minutes.
Remove from the skillet and use immediately.
