1 Sheet Nori
1 Cup Sushi Rice
2 Oz Tuna (Cut into Strips)
1/2 Avocado (Peeled, Pitted and Sliced)
1 Oz Cream Cheese
Take a sheet of nori and place it on the bamboo mat.
Wet your hands slightly then, spread a little of the cooked sushi rice over the width of the sheet of nori and covering about 2/3 of the length.
Flip the nori sheet over onto a piece of plastic wrap so that the rice side is down and place back onto the bamboo matt.
Place 2 slices of tuna in a line and top with cream cheese, add two slices of avocado on top of the cream cheese, make sure the filling is no thicker than 1/2 in in width.
Gently lift the bamboo mat up from the bottom and roll it to fold the rice over the toppings, bringing both side of the rice together, peeling away the bamboo mat as it rolls over to create a sealed cylinder of sushi.
Using the bamboo mat roll the sushi back and forth a few times to ensure it is fully formed and sealed, roll the sushi into sesame seeds and set aside to rest as you make additional rolls.
To serve, cut the roll of sushi in half using a sharp knife in one long motion, then take each half and cut in half again, repeat the process once more until you have 8 equal slices of sushi, serve and enjoy!
