Vegan Deli Meat Recipe.


Ingredients:


1 Block Extra Firm Tofu
1 TSP Soy Sauce
2 TSP Liquid Smoke
2 TSP Poultry Seasoning
1 TSP Garlic Powder
1 1/2 TSP Paprika
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper


Recipe Instructions:


Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Meanwhile, place tofu on a stack of kitchen paper, place more kitchen towels on to and place something heavy on top of that to squeeze the water out, this should take about 10 minutes.
In a food processor bowl, add all ingredients and process on high as needed until the mixture is completely smooth.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, pour tofu mixture on to baking sheet, cover with a second sheet of parchment paper and roll out until smooth and thin like a slice of deli meat.
Remove top sheet of parchment paper and sprinkle with additional ground black pepper, garlic powder or paprika if required.
Bake in over for roughly 20-30 minutes or until mixture is firm and a little brown on the top.
When cooked, remove from oven, let deli meat cool and slice into squares, use immediately or store in a food bag in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
