Vegan Swiss Cheese Recipe.


Ingredients:


1 (135oz) Can Coconut Milk
1/2 Cup Water
2 TBSP Nutritional Yeast
2 TBSP Agar Agar
1 TBSP Tahini
2 TSP Apple Cider Vinegar
2 TSP Fresh Lemon Juice
1 TSP Salt
1/2 TSP Onion Powder


Recipe Instructions:


Oil a container with a little canola oil and place several oiled straws of different widths into the container, allowing one end of the straws to hang over the edge of the container, set aside.
In a medium pan, over medium heat, add all of the ingredients and whisk to combine, continue to stir frequently until the mixture begins to boil.
Turn heat down to low and allow to simmer for 6 minutes, remove from heat, allow to cool for 1 minute and pour into the oiled container with straws.
Allow mixture to cool on the kitchen counter for 15 minutes before placing the mold into the refrigerator for 3-4 hours until cheese has fully set.
Remove the straws from the cheese by twisting them as you pull them out, slice the block of cheese and place in an air-tight container and store in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
