1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
2 TSP Cayenne Pepper
2 TSP Baking Powder
3 1/2 Oz Beer (Ale or Lager are both good options)
2 TSP Olive Oil
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
In a medium glass bowl, sieve the flour, then, add the cayenne pepper.
Season the flour with salt and pepper.
Then, add a couple of TSPs of baking powder.
Add the beer and a nice TBSP of olive oil.
Give that a good mix.
Once evenly combined, you are ready to batter your fish.
