8 Oz Penne Pasta (Uncooked)
2 TBSP Olive Oil
1 LB Chicken Breast (Boneless, Skinless, Diced)
2 TBSP Cajun Seasoning
1/4 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP Ground Black Pepper
2 Links of Smoked Sausage (Sliced)
3 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
1/4 Cup Fresh Parsley (Chopped)
2 Cups Half and Half
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Shredded)
Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and heat until shimmering.
Add the chicken and sprinkle with the Cajun seasoning, salt, pepper and cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 6 minutes.
Add the sausage to the same skillet as the chicken and cook until it begins to turn brown.
Add the garlic and parsley and continue to cook for another 1 minutes until the garlic releases its aromatics.
Next add in the half and half and cook until boiling, reduce heat and add the shredded parmesan cheese and cooked penne pasta, stir to combine well.
Serve warm on individual plates.
