2 grass-fed ribeye steaks
4 large eggs
8 ounces of mushrooms (e.g., cremini or portobello)
2 tablespoons of grass-fed butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Place the steaks in the skillet and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust cooking time according to your preference).
Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
In the same skillet, add butter and mushrooms, and sauté until they become tender and golden brown.
In a separate non-stick skillet, cook the eggs to your desired doneness.
Serve the steaks with sautéed mushrooms and top them with the eggs.
