1/2 cup of rolled oats
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of mixed berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries)
Optional toppings: sliced almonds or shredded coconut
In a jar or container, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup (if desired), and vanilla extract.
Stir well to ensure the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Cover the jar and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid.
In the morning, give the mixture a good stir and top with mixed berries.
Sprinkle with optional toppings such as sliced almonds or shredded coconut.
