Classic French Fries Recipe.


Ingredients:


4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
Vegetable oil for frying
Salt to taste


Recipe Instructions:


Rinse the cut potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch.
Pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully lower the potatoes into the hot oil and fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove the fries from the oil using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Season with salt to taste and serve
