Pepper Shrimp Recipe.


Ingredients:


1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 scotch bonnet pepper, thinly sliced (seeds removed for less heat)
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Juice of 1 lime
Salt to taste
Fresh parsley or cilantro, for garnish


Recipe Instructions:


Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
Add the sliced onions, bell pepper, and scotch bonnet pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
In a small bowl, combine the paprika, dried thyme, ground allspice, and ground black pepper.
Sprinkle the spice mixture over the vegetables in the skillet. Stir well to coat the vegetables evenly.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.
Drizzle the soy sauce and lime juice over the shrimp. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
Taste the shrimp and adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.
Remove the skillet from heat and garnish the pepper shrimp with fresh parsley or cilantro.
