Halo-Halo Recipe.


Ingredients:


Crushed ice
1/2 cup sweetened fruits (such as sweetened bananas, jackfruit, or sweetened macapuno)
1/2 cup cooked sweet beans (such as kidney beans or garbanzo beans)
1/4 cup nata de coco (coconut gel)
1/4 cup kaong (palm fruit)
1/4 cup gulaman (agar jelly), cut into cubes
1/4 cup sweetened corn kernels
1/4 cup sweetened red mung beans
1/4 cup leche flan (caramel custard), sliced or cubed
Evaporated milk
Ube (purple yam) or coconut ice cream (optional)


Recipe Instructions:


Start by preparing all the ingredients and having them ready for assembly.
Take a tall glass or bowl and fill it halfway with crushed ice.
Layer the sweetened fruits, sweet beans, nata de coco, kaong, gulaman, corn kernels, red mung beans, and leche flan over the crushed ice.
Add another layer of crushed ice to the top of the glass, filling it almost to the brim.
Drizzle the halo-halo with a generous amount of evaporated milk.
If desired, top the halo-halo with a scoop of ube or coconut ice cream for added creaminess and flavor.
Serve the halo-halo immediately and mix everything together before enjoying it.
