2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
1/4 cup melted butter
3 cups cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (for filling)
1 cup whipped cream (for topping)
Additional Oreo cookies for garnish (optional)
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
In a bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan to form the crust.
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies (for filling) into the cream cheese mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 55-60 minutes until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes, then run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the cheesecake.
Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Once chilled, carefully remove the cheesecake from the pan and transfer it to a serving plate.
Top with whipped cream and garnish with additional Oreo cookies if desired.
