Roast Turkey with Herb Butter Recipe.


Ingredients:


12 to 14-pound turkey
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons fresh sage, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh thyme, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste


Recipe Instructions:


Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
Rinse the turkey thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, mix the softened butter, sage, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Gently loosen the skin of the turkey and spread the herb butter mixture evenly under the skin.
Place the turkey on a roasting rack in a large roasting pan.
Roast the turkey for about 15 minutes per pound or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
