Apple Crumble Recipe.

Ingredients:

For the Apple Filling:

4-5 medium-sized apples (such as Granny Smith or Bramley), peeled, cored, and sliced
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

For the Crumble Topping:

1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ teaspoon salt

Recipe Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Apple Filling:

In a bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
Toss the ingredients together until the apples are well coated.

Make the Crumble Topping:

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cold cubed butter, rolled oats, packed brown sugar, and salt.
Using your fingertips or a pastry cutter, rub the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Gently squeeze the mixture together to form larger clumps, but be careful not to overwork the crumble topping.

Assemble the Apple Crumble:

Spread the apple filling evenly in a baking dish or individual ramekins.
Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples, covering them completely.

Bake the Apple Crumble:

Place the baking dish or ramekins on a baking sheet to catch any potential drips.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the crumble topping is golden brown and crisp.

Serve and Enjoy:

Remove the Apple Crumble from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Serve the warm Apple Crumble as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a dollop of whipped cream, or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
