Classic Bechamel Sauce Recipe.


Ingredients:


2 Cups Whole Milk (Warmed)
6 TBSP Butter (Unsalted)
3 1/2 TBSP All Purpose Flour


Recipe Instructions:


In a small, heavy saucepan, melt the butter over a medium heat but do not allow it to brown.
Add flour and stir very quickly with a wooden spoon, cook mixture until the flour begins to dry out slightly and turns a light golden-brown color.
Add a couple of TBSP of warmed milk into the pan and stir thoroughly to loosen the flour mixture.
Slowly add the remainder of the warmed milk to the mixture while constantly whisking the sauce until it turns thick and smooth.
Taste to adjust and use as required.
