1 ounce tequila
1 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce fresh lime juice, plus lime slices for garnish
1/2 ounce
agave nectar (or simple syrup)

Sea salt, for the rim
Salt the rim of the glass by rubbing a lime wedge around the edge and dipping it onto a small plate of salt.
Mix the tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice into the glass and fill the remainder of the glass with crushed ice.
Stir and add the agave nectar, if desired, to sweeten.
If it's too strong, wait a little bit for the ice to melt.
