6 Slices of Bacon (Chopped)
2 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
2 Cups Chicken Broth
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 LB Shrimp (Peeled and Deveined, Tails Off)
1/2 TSP Cajun Seasoning
Pinch of Sea Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
In a large heavy bottomed pot over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, using a slotted spoon transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain.
Add the garlic to the pan the bacon was cooked in and stir until fragrant, about 1 minute, pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer until the mixture begins to reduce, about 10-15 minutes.
Stir in the heavy whipping cream and the shrimp and bacon and simmer until the shrimp turns pink, another 3-4 minutes.
Add the Cajun seasoning and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve in bowl while steaming and hot!
